Boys Birthday Celebration with Family

We had our family over to celebrate the boys' birthdays on Saturday, August 15th.  We have been blessed with an amazing and supportive family, and I am so happy that they were all able to be here. These boys received some great gifts, but the best gift of all was spending time with family.

Faces of Heart Fest

The American Heart Association held their 4th annual Faces of Heart Fest at the Nashville Zoo on August 12th.  This is an event that Colby looks forward to every year, and we were so happy that this year, Brody could go too.  Both boys got their face painted, played with Champ, hula hooped, jumped rope, and played with many of our heart friends.  We are so grateful for the AHA and all that they do for those affected by heart disease and stroke.  We can't wait for the Nashville Heart Walk coming up on October 3rd.

First Day of School

The summer has come to an end far too quickly!!  I am going to miss these boys while they are at school, but I know they will be loving every minute of this school year.  Watch out 3rd and 1st grade...here come the Hitchcock boys!

My Birthday Surprise

With Colby's birthday the day before mine and Brody's birthday a couple weeks later, I tend to skip right over my own birthday most years.  Jason surprised me this year, though, and invited some great friends over to celebrate my 35th birthday with me!  I was completely surprised and very happy to spend some time with these amazing people.

Colby's 7th Birthday

Colby is 7 years old, and we celebrated him all day long on his birthday...starting with streamers, super hero decorations, presents, and cinnamon rolls!  I cannot believe this little guy is 7!  He is such an  inspiration to us all.  He has a crazy big love for life and people, and we are so thankful that God blessed us with him.  Happy Birthday Colby!!

3v3 Live Regional Championships

Brody played in the 3v3 Live Soccer Regional Championship in Clarksville on August 1st and 2nd.   His team played great and finished in 2nd place, qualifying them once again for the National Championships at Disney World. It is always so much fun watching these boys play soccer together!
