During Fall Break, we went back to our favorite spot...the beach! The weather was beautiful, and the family time was priceless. I am so thankful that we are able to take family vacations each year. Getting away without the distractions of our daily lives is such a blessing, and I will always cherish the memories we make.

On Saturday, October 3rd, we participated in the Walk Across Sumner event with Merrol Hyde. Elementary schools from all over the county participate, and they award those schools with the biggest attendance at the event. Merrol Hyde received 2nd place in the small schools division. It is such a blessing for our boys to be in a school with great teachers, like Coach Curcio, awesome friends, and amazing family support.
After a unit on Life Cycles, the 3rd graders were assigned a Life Cycle project. They could choose any plant or animal that they wanted to learn more about. Brody chose the Blue Poison Dart Frog. He learned some interesting facts and did a great job with his poster. I am so proud of him for always working hard on his school work!
