Easter 2017

We had a wonderful Easter this year!  The day kicked off with a great worship service, followed by some much needed and appreciated quality time with family in Murfreesboro.  I cherish every chance I get to spend with our family.  He is risen indeed!

"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!"

Soccer Saturday

The Saturday before Easter was filled with soccer.  It was a beautiful day, the boys played great, and we all got to enjoy the day together at the same park!  I am learning very quickly to truly appreciate the weekends that we don't have to split up for soccer games.

Colby's Field Trip

On Thursday, April 13, the second graders took a field trip to Mansker's Station, followed by lunch and an egg hunt at the park.  It was a beautiful day, and all of the kids had a lot of fun.  I am just so thankful for this school, these teachers, and this awesome group of kids that Colby gets to grow up with.  This was the perfect way to start our three day Easter weekend!

Soccer Tournaments

The weekend of April 1-2, both boys had soccer tournaments, so Jason and I had to divide and conquer.  We both enjoyed some one on one time with the boys...me in Cookeville with Colby and Jason in Chattanooga with Brody.  Colby's team didn't win, but I loved seeing him play so well.  Brody's team, on the other hand, finished the tournament as U11 Champs!  It was another great weekend of soccer for the Hitchcock boys.
