10th Annual Blood Drive and Bake Sale Invite

Snow Days for Days!!

We had our first big snow of the year, and the kids were out of school for over a week!! It was basically like a second Christmas break.  No complaints from these boys, though.  They had so much fun sledding and playing in the snow.  Messi had a lot of fun too!!   I think he ran up and down that big hill over a hundred times chasing these boys.  Who knew Messi would love sledding so much?!?!

Beech Indoor Tournament

Both boys played in their first indoor tournament of the season the weekend of January 6.  Colby's team finished 1st in their division, and Brody's team finished 2nd, after an intense Golden Goal Overtime finish.  These indoor games are always so much fun to watch, and we can't wait for the next one!

New Year's Eve

To continue a tradition we started last year, we had the Harpoles and Altepeters over for New Year's Eve.  Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have from the whole night, and it makes me laugh.  Colby got poked in the eye at some point during the night, and he could barely open his eyes.  The poor child was pitiful.  That combined with being completely exhausted did not make for a great photo.  The kids did, however, have a great time playing and bringing in the New Year together...no matter how miserable Colby looks.  Ha!

Christmas

I LOVE Christmas morning and seeing the happiness and excitement on these boys' faces!!  I also love that they get just as excited to give gifts to others.  Their sweet hearts make me happy, and I am so thankful for them!

Christmas Eve

We always enjoy hosting Christmas Eve dinner at our house!

Christmas at Aunt Pat and Uncle Lee's House

We kicked off the Christmas celebrations with our traditional December 23rd get together at Aunt Pat and Uncle Lee's house.  I love having time together with family!!
