Fall Fun and Pumpkin Carving

Jason surprised the boys (and me) by bringing home a fire pit!! They were so excited!! We decided to break it in by making some smores. I'm sure this is just the first of many Fall nights that we will sit out by the fire and make smores. I love Fall!!!!

The boys were really excited about carving pumpkins this year. Brody helped Jason decide on the designs to carve, but then he lost interest once he realized he couldn't actually do the carving. Poor Jason ended up doing all of the work by himself. He did an awesome job, though, and both boys were very happy and proud of the pumpkins, especially the skull and cross bones!
