Cancun for Spring Break

For Spring Break this year, we decided to do something big and head to Cancun.  The boys experienced so many firsts on this trip...first time to fly, first time outside the United States, first time parasailing, first time trying some new foods, as well as a few other great firsts.  We had so much fun and made so many wonderful memories on this trip!  I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to take this trip and make these memories with our boys.  This will be a trip we all remember for a long time.

Art Fun

Both our boys love art, but Brody has really taken more of an interest lately.  He even had a second piece of his art featured in our school's Evening of the Arts this year.  I love seeing him be inspired and create, and I hope his love for art continues to grow.  

1st Grade Egg Hunt and Math Store

The first graders had an Easter Egg Hunt on the Friday before Spring Break. Each egg had a combination of 35 cents, and the kids were able to find 12 eggs each.  With the money from their eggs, they had a chance to shop in Mrs. Pinson's Math Store.  All of the kids went home with some fun stuff.  I love that Mrs. Pinson does this activity!  It is great real life practice for the kids, and they all love going shopping!
