We spent our 4th of July afternoon at the pool. There was a water slide, slip-n-slide, and games. Colby was determined to play all the games, even the shaving cream fight, so he could earn the most points and win a trophy. His determination paid off...he won first place in the 6 and under division.
We spent 4th of July night at our house with a few friends. We ate, played, and even let the kids shoot fireworks, which made me a nervous wreck. The boys, however, had a blast! It was a great night and a great way to start new traditions in our new house.
