The 9th Annual Blood Drive and Bake Sale on February 18th was a huge success! We were overwhelmed by the number of blood donors, the amount of baked goods donated, and just the overall support shown to us once again by friends and family. We look forward to this event every year, and we are thankful that it continues to be a hit.
There were 92 people who came out to donate blood this year, and the Red Cross was able to successfully collect 87 units of blood! That is by far the most units ever collected during any of our blood drives. Thank you all for saving so many lives!
Our bake sale did better than it ever has too. We mailed the final donation of $4,102 on March 8. This is almost $1,000 more than last year's donation. All of this money goes directly toward the CHD research projects being done at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. We are so thankful to be able to donate funds toward such amazing projects that will definitely improve the lives of those affected by congenital heart defects.
Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and love. We can't wait to celebrate with you again at our 10th Annual Blood Drive and Bake Sale next year!
