TUSC 08 Boys Red are STATE CHAMPS!! What an incredible season for these boys! They have been super focused on winning state since day 1 of this season, and watching them achieve that goal today was amazing! We are so proud of this team!
We are also very happy to see a season that started out with an unexpected surgery for Colby end so awesome! He may have been sidelined for a few weeks, but this team (these boys) kept him going. Sometimes it's about more than soccer...it's about the friendships, it's about the life lessons, and it's about learning to get back up and keep fighting when you get knocked down.
Also, we didn't know this until today, but apparently Colby told. his team right after his surgery that if they won state, he would shave his head. So, his head has been shaved. A promise is a promise I guess.
