Snow Day!

We had our first "big" snow (big for us at least) on Sunday. The boys loved watching the snow fall, and they were very eager to get outside and play in it. So, we spent about 20-30 minutes getting all bundled up to spend only about 10 or 15 minutes actually playing outside. The wind was freezing! The time spent bundling up was worth every second, though! I love seeing the excitement and happiness in their faces! The only thing that would have made it better is if daddy were here to enjoy it with us, but unfortunately, Jason is out of town this week for work. Hopefully we will get another "big" snow soon!

Colby had fun catching snow flakes with his tongue!

Yes, I realize Colby looks a little blue. I promise he was fine! His color always looks worse when he is really cold.

Brody's snow angel

The boys were attempting to ice skate here, which was very cute!

Colby loved seeing his little footprints in the snow. He would walk, turn around and look, and then laugh out loud.

Brody wanted to make a snowman so bad, but unfortunately, the snow would not pack to make snowballs or snowmen...maybe next time.

Colby was done with the cold, and he was letting us know that it was time to go inside. That little face just melts my heart every time I see it!
