As we have done every year for the past several years, we celebrated the 4th of July by having a cook out on July 3rd. The kids played, the parents talked, we all ate, and then watched the Drakes Creek Fireworks from our front yard. I think everyone had a great time...I know we did!!! Some great friends...
Mr. Nick brought over sparklers this year, and the kids loved it!
The fireworks started about 9, and everyone was ready to sit down and watch. Everyone that is, except Colby and a few other kids. They were ready for a dance party!
Brody wouldn't take his eyes off the fireworks even for a quick picture. He was absolutely fascinated again this year.
I try to get a group picture of all the kids every year, and every year, it gets harder! This was the best picture we could get. It's not easy getting 17 kids to stop, look, and smile at the same time!
