Brody's Thanksgiving Lunch and Performance

Nannie Berry held their Thanksgiving Lunch for the Kindergartners on Friday, November 16.  After lunch, we were invited back to Mrs. Cook's room for a Thanksgiving performance by the class.  The kids recited a story about "5 Wild Turkeys" and sang a song about how they thought the first Thanksgiving might have gone.  This ended with the turkey getting away and the Pilgrims eating pizza!  Each child then said what they were thankful for, which was very sweet to hear!  There was everything from toys to moms and dads. Brody kind of surprised us with "shelter" and family.  How did this boy get so smart and mature so fast?   It was a great performance and a lot of fun to watch!!

On the first Thanksgiving, the Pilgrims caught a turkey...

but the turkey got away...

We are so proud of our little pilgrim!!!  He did a great job!  He and his brother give us so much to be thankful for each and every day!
