The End of a Great Soccer Season

The Fall 2012 Soccer Season came to an end on Saturday, November 3.  Colby's game was up first, and he played great!!  He scored 3 goals!!  This was the 4th game in a row that he scored at least 3 goals.  We are so proud of how much he has learned this season and how hard he works!!  Colby not only practiced with his team this season, but he also practiced with Brody's team twice a week.  He amazed me running around with 6 year olds!  He may be small and he may only function with half a heart, but this boy is unstoppable!

Brody's game was next, and he also played great!  Brody has learned so much this season from his 2 amazing coaches!  Coach Donnie and Coach Mike really worked on dribbling and foot skills with these boys, and they all picked it up so well!  By the end of the season, they were playing like much older kids!  They finished the season undefeated!

Coach Donnie and Coach Mike were very nice to let Colby (also known as "Little Man") practice with them this season!  They worked with him like he was just another member of the team.  They even had a gift for him when they handed out the trophies!  It was a soccer ball key ring with a number 8 on it, because they said he was the 8th man on the team.  I love it!!!  I pray that Brody is fortunate enough to end up on their team in the Spring!!!
