The first graders took a field trip to the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring in Murfreesboro on Wednesday, April 23, and I was fortunate enough to be selected as a chaperone. It was great watching them explore, learn, and have fun. The highlight of the trip for me, though, was when Brody chose to sit with me on the bus and told me how happy he was I got to go with him. He made my day!
