Another summer swim season came to an end with the annual Marlins Swim Team Banquet on July 31st. The coaches gave the swimmers their participation trophies, as well as several "special" awards. Colby received the Most Improved Award this year, and I think he definitely earned it. His progress throughout the summer was amazing! Brody was given the Coaches Award. I think this is a really special one, because it means that all the coaches thought Brody listened well, worked hard, showed good sportsmanship, and had fun. We are extremely proud of both of our boys!
Saying goodbye to the coaches at the end of the summer is always hard. The boys absolutely love all of them! We will miss seeing you every day Coach Lisa, Coach Emily, Coach Will, Coach John, Coach Sara, Coach Chris, and Coach Kellyn. We hope you all return to the Bluegrass Marlins next summer!
