Spring 2012 Soccer Begins

The Spring Soccer Season has started! This is Colby's first season and Brody's fifth season. Both boys had great first games, and I think this is going to be a great season!

Another Cookeville Trip

We ended Spring Break with another trip to Cookeville! This time, Brody had his very own 4- wheeler, and he rode it for about 5 hours!! The only time he went inside was when we made him eat some lunch. We all had so much fun!! The best part was spending an entire day with some great people!! Thank you Randy, Myra, and Cole for opening up your home to us again!

Right before I took this picture, Brody was bucked off of this little pony. We are so proud of him for getting right back on him and riding again, even though he was still crying!

There is a dairy farm down the street from their house. The men that run it were nice enough to let us come watch them milk the cows. I love that the boys got to see where the milk comes from, especially since when I asked Colby where milk comes from, he said, "the fridge." Ha!

Chattanooga Aquarium

During Brody's Spring Break, we were able to get away on Thursday and Friday to Chattanooga. This is a trip we have wanted to take for a while, and I am so glad we finally did!! The boys loved the aquarium, the IMAX 3-d movie, staying in a hotel, and visiting with some friends that live in Dalton. We didn't have time to go to the Kids' Discovery Museum, so we are planning to go back very soon!!

2012 CHD Research Donation

We just mailed the proceeds and donations from the Bake Sale to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital's CHD Research. Our final total was $2,781! Thanks again to everyone who contributed to this total.

Basketball Season Comes to an End

Brody's first basketball season has come to an end, which was kind of sad for all of us. Brody was really getting the hang of the game, Jason was enjoying being an assistant coach, and Colby and I loved cheering him on!!! We will be looking forward to basketball again next year!
