Happy birthday Jason!

Wishing a very happy birthday to the best husband, dad, and friend around!!  The boys and I love you very much, and we are beyond thankful that you are ours!

The past year has been a wild ride to say the least with a pandemic and quarantine, but in true Jason fashion, you made the best of it and remained positive through it all.  You also had a lot of fun with your hair and beard styles while you weren't traveling for work.  We just never know what you might look like from day to day, but we love you no matter what!  : )

Here's to an awesome 44th year!!!  We love you!

Happy 5th Birthday Messi

How in the world is our baby already 5?!?!?!  Happy 5th Birthday to the best dog we could ever ask for!  We love you Messi!!

Basketball 8th Grade Recognition

The Middle School Hawks 8th grade recognition night was on January 14th.  We are so proud of our "little" 8th grader!  It was fun watching him learn and grow in another sport while representing his school.

Christmas 2020

Christmas 2020 was a little different, but it was still extra special.  As long as I'm with my family, all is well!

Christmas Eve

Our first Christmas Eve Dinner in our new house was perfect!  We are feeling extra thankful this year, despite the craziness of 2020.

Ice Skating Fun

We weren't able to do our traditional December 23rd big family get together this year due to the pandemic, but we still had some pre-Christmas fun with cousins.  The boys loved going ice skating and making gingerbread houses with Harper and Darbye and having dinner with Poogie and Gacky.

Christmas Cards Fail

Unfortunately, we didn't get Christmas cards out this year.  I blame 2020 and the fact that we were in the process of trying to move!  But, in true 2020 style, we wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year virtually.  Here's to hoping I am more on top of things next Christmas!

Atlanta Soccer Tournament (December 5-6)

Brody's team ended the soccer season with a tournament in Atlanta this weekend.  They played a couple super muddy games, as you can tell by this nasty uniform!!  I've been terrible about taking pictures and videos during games, so I'm thankful for friends who share what they capture of Brody.  Proud of this kid and how he plays!  110% every time!

New Home Sweet Home

After looking on and off for a couple years to find a house on the lake, we finally found "the house."  This is a real life example of how patience pays off...big time!  We are going to miss our old house, though.  We spent 5 years there and made so many amazing memories!  Our boys loved having their secret room in the basement, also known as the dungeon.  It is a beautiful house, and we pray that the next family enjoys it as much as we did.

We moved the week of Thanksgiving, which was not ideal, but we all survived.  We were able to get in and get mostly settled before Christmas.  We loved celebrating our first Christmas here, and now, we are all ready for warmer weather!  Bring on boat and lake days!!

We are so thankful to have found the house that is a perfect fit for our family, and we can't wait to enjoy many, many years here together!!

Stones River Soccer Tournament (November 21-22)

We had a long weekend in Smyrna, but it was all worth it! We got to watch both our boys play some pretty awesome soccer!!

Colby's team finished as champs, and Brody's team finished the weekend as finalists.  Proud of these two and the growth they've had as players this season!

A parent from Colby's team even caught Colby taking a PK in one of the games.  Love his excitement!

Bye Bye Braces

After 18 months, Colby finally got his braces off!  We had a slight delay due to the pandemic, but that just made this day all the more exciting!
