Mrs. McCoy's second grade class performed a fairy tale courtroom play on Monday, November 24. It was the Fairy Tale Villains verses the Land of Far Far Away. These kids did an amazing job! We are especially proud of our little Defense Lawyer. With his help, the villains were found not guilty!

School Thanksgiving Lunch
Thanksgiving lunch at school was right after Colby's Thanksgiving play on November 14. I am so thankful that Jason and I were both able to be there. I will never take these special events with our boys for granted.

"Turkey Dressing" Project
The kindergartners read the book A Plump and Perky Turkey about a turkey invited to dinner. To help the turkey not become dinner, the kids were asked to dress or decorate him in a disguise. Last year when Colby had this project, he disguised his turkey as Spiderman. This year, his turkey became Michelangelo, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. I am so thankful that Jason is artistic and can help out with these type of projects!! I think Michelangelo looks great, and he should be safe for Thanksgiving dinner!

Fall Soccer
Brody's Fall Soccer Season ended on Saturday, November 1. This was his first season as part of Tennessee United Soccer Club, and he absolutely loved it! We are very thankful for the U8 Academy program and the awesome coaches that are a part of it.
Halloween
The boys were ready for a fun day at school in their jeans and Halloween shirts...
The Dark Reaper and Raphael were more than ready for trick or treating on Halloween night, and we were very happy to have all the cousins join us this year too...Cindy Brady (Harper), Lucille Ball (Darbye), a volleyball player (Emilee), and pajama girl (Kylee) were all adorable. I love spending these fun times with our family!
Trunk or Treat 2014
Trunk or treat at church was so much fun! We decorated Jason's jeep as a monster face and handed out candy to all of the little trunk or treaters. I love that our church does this big event for the community each year, and I'm thankful that we were able to be a small part of it.
Brody's 3v3 Spook Out Tournament
On Saturday, October 25th, Brody's 3v3 soccer team played in the Nashville Spook Out Tournament at Moss Wright Park. This was a really fun tournament for the boys! Each team dressed in costume and got to trick or treat around the soccer fields before the championship game at 9 pm.
Team Zombies did so well!! They were undefeated in their first 4 games, and the championship game ended in a tie followed by sudden death, where unfortunately the other team scored first.
We could not be any prouder of these Zombies' second place finish. They played their little hearts out, and it was a great day of soccer, friends, and fun!
