Colby's class went on their first field trip to the Roxy Theater in Clarksville on Friday, January 23. After the play, we headed to the Customs House Museum to explore and play. I was fortunate enough to go along with them for the fun!

100th Day of School
Colby's Kindergarten class celebrated the 100th day of school on Thursday, January 22 by dressing up as 100 year old men and women. I think Colby made a pretty cute little old man!

Toothless
Brody lost his top two teeth...with a little help from the dentist. When we went for their cleaning, the dentist noticed how loose his top two teeth were. One of them was literally sticking straight out! So, he and Brody decided it would be best to go ahead and get them out. I still haven't gotten used to his cute little toothless smile!!
Christmas with Aunt Becky and Uncle Albert
We celebrated Christmas with Aunt Becky and Uncle Albert on New Year's Day. We don't see them nearly enough, and I cherish every moment we have together.
Colby's Cardiology Check-up
Colby had his 6 month follow-up appointment with cardiology on December 30th. After an echo, EKG, and vitals check, we received the best report about Colby that I think we ever have. Dr. Doyle said he is looking great! We were shocked to hear that his sats are 98%. After racing Dr. Doyle up and down the hall three times, his sats only dropped to 97%. Jason and I didn't even think this was possible with his anatomy. Colby continues to show us what a miracle he really is and how great our God is!
As a routine check, Colby had to wear a halter monitor for 24 hours. Hopefully this will show no problems, and we will go back for his regular check up in 6 months.
Christmas Day
We headed over to my mom and dad's house for lunch with them, Jeanine, Harper, and Darbye. We opened more presents and enjoyed a delicious lunch.
We then went to Jeremy and Tammy's house to celebrate with Poppy. Tammy made an awesome dinner, and the kids opened more presents.
It was a long and tiring day, but it was an amazing day! I pray these boys realize how blessed they are to have such amazing family surrounding them.
Christmas Morning
Santa came!!
These boys were ready to get downstairs to see what Santa brought for them...
I will never get tired of seeing their expressions on Christmas morning...pure joy!
Christmas Eve
We celebrated Christmas with Nenny and Pa, Nana, Jeremy, Tammy, and the girls on Christmas Eve at our house. Jason really enjoyed planning and cooking dinner, and I enjoyed being his assistant. We had so much fun working together side by side all afternoon. We always make a good team! After dinner, the kids got to do what they love best...open presents!
When everyone left, Jason read "The Night Before Christmas," the boys put out cookies and milk for Santa, carrots for the reindeer, and they jumped into bed. They were so excited about Santa coming!!!
