Home Sweet Home

Jason and I had an amazing time in Costa Rica, but we definitely missed our boys while we were gone...all 3 of them.  I'm not sure if the boys missed us more or the dog, but I'm going to tell myself they missed me the most.  :) Regardless, it's good to be home together again.

Costa Rica

For Spring Break this year, Jason and I decided to take a big trip to Costa Rica to celebrate him turning 40 and our upcoming 15th wedding anniversary, which is in July.  I am so glad we did!  Costa Rica is absolutely gorgeous, and this one-on-one time with him...without kids, busy schedules, work, and just the normal every day life was priceless.  We played, relaxed, ate, and even exercised together while we were there.  I even got the courage to try some new things, like a kayak, paddle board, ATV, and zip lining.  I am now hooked on all of them and can't wait to do them again.  

I am so blessed to have this amazing man as my husband, best friend, and daddy to our two boys!  I pray that we continue to have this much fun together for the rest of our lives.  

Book Character Dress Up Day

To end a week of celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday, the kids dressed as a favorite book character.  Colby's choice was a Which What Who from "I Wish the I had Duck Feet," and Brody's choice was the Old Man of the Moon from "Where the Mountain Meets the Moon."  

Bluegrass Gala

Each year Bluegrass holds a gala to thank members who have sponsored new members throughout the year.  There is always a fun theme, and this year, it was Willy Wonka.   We had a great time with great friends!
