Jason's graduating class has not gotten together since their 5 year mark. Jason didn't want them to miss out on celebrating 30 years, so he put together an awesome reunion! It was fun seeing him plan all the details and make it all happen. I think everyone who attended was thankful and enjoyed catching up. Davidson Academy class of 95 is a pretty cool group!
We attended "Experience Trevecca" day with Colby, and he loved it! Trevecca will definitely be on his short list. It would be kind of cool to see our boys end up together again in another year and a half. Only time will tell!
Moose turned 2 on October 16. He is the perfect amount of chaos that we didn't know we needed. He's full of energy, full of love, and we can't imagine our lives without him!
We didn't go on a big trip over Fall Break, so we decided to go check out a couple colleges for Colby. We learned from our experience with Brody and decided to not wait until Senior Year to start looking at schools. It was fun having this time with Colby and hear him start talking about his future.
We visited UT Martin on Monday, and we were all pleasantly surprised with how much we liked the campus and the professors we met with. The only downside is that there is nothing around there...kind of in the middle of nowhere.
On Thursday, we visited Lee University, and I think we all fell in love with this school! The campus is gorgeous and you can tell that God is in the center of all they do. I think Lee will be a top runner for Colby as he continues to explore other schools.
Today was the first official day of Freshman year for Brody! We all miss him at home, but seeing him living his best life and having so much fun during all the orientation activities over the last several days makes us so happy, so proud, and so thankful! Make it a great year Brody! We love you!
We missed Brody yesterday on his 19th birthday, so we are very thankful we could see him this morning! It was such a special morning in so many ways. He ran in the Be the Light 5K in honor of Janie Grace. She was a beautiful girl with a beautiful faith, who lost her life last October. Janie Grace and Brody were born a day apart (her birthday is today), and we've gone to church with them for many, many years. Janie Grace continues to touch so many lives and inspire so many people! It was an honor to be there this morning and help celebrate her life and legacy!
Happy Birthday Brody! We love you BIG and are very proud of you! It is such a blessing to see you running again (and running well!) after being stuck in that boot for so many months, and seeing you run in honor of Janie Grace on her birthday makes it even more special.
Congrats on the win too! Now go shine your light bright at school. We will miss you!
Today was one of the sweetest days, but also one of the hardest as we moved Brody into his dorm. It's crazy how many emotions you can experience at one time...we're proud, excited, hopeful, thankful, and sad. We know he's more than ready for this next chapter, though, and we can't wait to watch his story unfold.
First Day of School and Colby's Birthday! 17...how?!?!? Praying for another year of health and happiness for this unbelievably strong and brave kid! We love you Colby Chance! Keep being you and shining God's light everywhere you go!

I'll go anywhere as long as I'm with you Jason! We had the most amazing weekend in Wyoming! I love when Jason and I can get away together. We explored (drove a lot!), we hiked, we ate, and we attended the most beautiful wedding ever for a beautiful couple! Congratulations Jeremiah and Rylie! We are so thankful that we could be there and celebrate you guys. This was a weekend we will not forget!
