Brody attended his last Snowball Dance at Merrol Hyde. All of the "lasts" are starting to get harder and harder for me emotionally, but I love seeing him enjoy them all. He and Emily looked great, and they had a fun night together. Big thanks to Brody's friend, Noah, for taking the awesome pics!

Colby had a post surgery follow up, and his new pacemaker is functioning well! He had some programming done while running on the treadmill, which will allow his heart to respond the best it can during soccer/exercise. He was even released to ease back into some conditioning until his next surgery, and he was excited to be back working out with his team. He's had some tough workouts, but he's hoping the work he is putting in now will help him get back quickly after surgery.
Surgery is scheduled for February 19. This one should be much less complicated and will require only a one night stay in the hospital...hopefully. They will remove the old pacemaker and lead and also do a scar revision. We are all anxious to put this behind us and watch Colby continue to defy the odds.
I think this was one of my favorite New Year's Eve nights yet...playing games at Pins Mechanical with Jason, our boys, and great friends! I am going into 2025 with so much gratitude! God is good, and I can't wait to see where He leads us this year. Happy New Year!
