Christmas Morning

Santa did find the boys at our new house!

The boys went back downstairs to look around after finding ping pong paddles and air hockey stuff under the tree. They were so excited to find both these tables set up and ready to play!!

The boys took a break from all of their presents to give us our presents.  They love giving, and that makes me so happy!!

Christmas Eve

Our traditional Christmas Eve with Nenny and Pa, Jeremy and Tammy, Emilee and Kylee, and Joan continued this year...in our new house!

When everyone left, the boys put out cookies and milk for Santa, spread Magic Reindeer Food in the front yard, and we read The Night Before Christmas.

We have loved our new house, and it was so  nice spending our first Christmas here.  It truly does feel like "Home Sweet Home to Me!"

Christmas at Aunt Pat's House

Christmas at Aunt Pat and Uncle Lee's house kicked off our Christmas celebrations again this year.  We love spending time with our big, crazy family!

Channel 4 News Tour with Holly Thompson

At our school's silent auction a couple months ago, Jason and I "won" a channel 4 news tour with Holly Thompson.  The boys have been so excited about going, and over Christmas break, we were finally able to make it happen.

Holly Thompson showed us around the studio, the news room, and the production room.  It is fascinating how much goes on behind the scenes.  The boys were especially intrigued with all of the controls in the production room and the green screen.

This was such a great experience for all of us, and I am thankful that we had this opportunity.  Holly Thompson is a beautiful person, inside and out!

Ice Skating

We took the boys to Ford Ice Center to ice skate for the first time ever over Christmas break, and we had so much fun!!  I was shocked at how quickly they both got comfortable on the ice.  We can't wait to go back and skate again!

Christmas Caroling

Watching the kids go Christmas caroling with our church each year is always so much fun.  They sang for the church, the residents of Christian Manor 1 and 2, and the Room in the Inn guests.  I pray that this was a blessing for at least one person that heard these sweet voices.
