First Day of School 2020 Style

First day of 8th and 6th grades looks a little different than years past, but we are thankful they are at least starting.  For the time being, they will go to school on Mondays and Thursdays, and then they will do distance learning from home on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.  We are hopeful that this is just short term and they can get back to the classroom full time soon!  These boys miss their "normal school," and so do me and Jason!!  Like everything else in 2020 Covid world, we are just rolling with the punches and making the best out of every situation.

40th Birthday Surprise

I loved everything about this surprise birthday celebration!!  I have no idea how Jason pulled it off, but I'm so thankful he did!  My favorite restaurant surrounded by my favorite people...it doesn't get much better than that!   This was definitely a great way to kick off my big 40th birthday week!

Lake Days

We are always thankful for family lake days, but during these crazy Covid quarantine times, we've been extra thankful!!  Being able to get out of the house and spend time on the boat having fun has been so good for all of us!  Sometimes a change of scenery or a change of pace is just what you need to improve your mood.

Beach Get Away

A week away at the beach with great friends is so good for the soul!!  I am so thankful for these friends, for this private beach away from it all, and for this special time away with my boys!  This is by far the best place ever to social distance!!
