H.E.A.T (Hendersonville Endurance Athletic Team) and the Sumner County YMCA host a Kids' Triathlon each year in August, and Brody was old enough to participate this year. So, on Saturday August 4, Brody became the first person in our family to complete a triathlon!! The 6-10 year olds swam 50 meters, biked 2 miles (with a lot of hills!), and then ran 1 mile. Brody did really well, finishing in 29:28...8th out of 13 six and seven year old boys. We are so proud of Brody for getting out there and being active!! He inspires me so much with his eagerness to try new things!!
