Colby's school held their annual Carnival Day on Friday, May 10. As always, the kids had so much fun in all of the bounce houses and obstacle course. As I watched Colby climb the huge wall in the obstacle course, I couldn't help but get teary eyed. It brought back memories from the many physical therapy sessions where Colby couldn't even walk, and I worried constantly that he would always be way behind his peers in gross motor skills. He has been a little delayed, as expected, but we can see him making progress every day! On this day, at that moment, seeing him next to his best friend climbing that big wall with no hesitation, he looked like just another "normal" Pre-Kindergartner. For that, I am so thankful!!!!! We are very proud of this little guy!
