Johnny Appleseed

For the first nine weeks of school, Brody was in Theater.  This was the one class that he wasn't looking forward to before school started.  He went into it saying he was going to volunteer to be the lights guy or help behind the scenes, but to his surprise, he ended up loving theater and being on stage!  After a nudge from his teacher, he read for the part of Johnny Appleseed in their class production and got it.  It was so much fun watching him up on that stage performing!!  He was so at ease and looked totally comfortable.  He has come so far since first grade, when he would physically feel sick if he had to present in front of his class.  I love how comfortable he is becoming in his own skin and his abilities, and I pray that he continues to gain confidence as he gets older.  I want him to use all the talents and skills that God has given him to the fullest!!
