On February 15, Dr. Doyle and Mary Beth came to Colby's school to visit with the 3rd graders. They taught the kids all about the heart in such a fun way! They even did an echo on Jason's heart to show a healthy four chamber heart, and then they did one on Colby to show his heart, which only functions with two chambers. I think the best part for all of the kids was listening to each other's hearts with stethoscopes.
This was an awesome experience for all of the 3rd graders, especially Colby. I know he will NOT forget this day and how awesome it was to have two of his most favorite people meet his school friends. We are blessed beyond belief to have Dr. Doyle and Mary Beth in our lives!!!!!
